Justin Brookfield, Managing Director – Locker Room Media
Justin graduated from Kingston Business School in 1992 and started work in the cable industry as regional marketing co-ordinator for CableTel (soon to become NTL). He left in 1996 to work for an Internet start-up, The Connections Group, which offered branded email services to clients including a range of football clubs. Justin was instrumental in securing deals with Chelsea, Arsenal, Leeds United, Everton and Bolton Wanderers before the business was sold to World Telecom plc in 1998. Justin then became Head of Marketing at Kitbag.com and was responsible for growing the brand whilst it became one of the first businesses in the UK to launch on OPEN, BskyB’s interactive TV shopping service. Justin also worked closely with brands such as Adidas, Reebok, UMBRO and Canterbury of New Zealand to help them take their first tentative steps into the eCommerce retail environment.

In 2001, Justin left Kitbag to create FUSE Media, a digital agency focused on delivering return on investment marketing campaigns for a range of clients. In 2004, FUSE Media became 3Pin Marketing. At the end of 2005, Justin co-founded Locker Room Sport with Iain Linkleter with the aim of helping brands involved in sports marketing to take greater advantage of digital media opportunities. Early in 2006, Locker Room Sports acquired 3Pin Marketing to create Locker Room Media.

Iain Linkleter, Managing Director – Locker Room Sport
Iain is a Business and Marketing graduate, who began his working life at IBM (UK) in a graduate role. After two years at IBM, he embarked on a successful career in sales and marketing and in 1998 Iain was appointed as Sales Director at Datanet Marketing Services, taking responsibility for the delivery of the entire top-line revenue across sites such as Planet Rugby, Cricket Line, Racetips.com and PlanetF1. When Datanet was acquired by 365 Corp in 2000, Iain became Commercial Director for the Internet division of the newly created group.

2002 saw further consolidation in the sports publishing market when Rivals and 365’s internet division merged, with Iain continuing in the role of Commercial Director. At the end of 2003, Iain and the other two directors at Rivals Digital Media sold the business to UK Betting. Iain’s commercial responsibility now stretched to include TeamTalk, Football 365, Sporting Life and Odds Checker.

Iain teamed up with Justin Brookfield at the end of 2005 to create Locker Room Sports, an agency which provides the missing link between digital marketing and return on investment for brands involved in sports sponsorship. In May 2006, Locker Room Sports acquired 3Pin Marketing to create Locker Room Media, a fully integrated digital agency.

Robert Jones – Operations Director
Rob is responsible for making sure that all aspects of agency operations run smoothly and efficiently, whilst ensuring that the team are keeping ahead of the game with regard to new digital marketing technologies.

Rob graduated with a Management degree from the University of Hertfordshire in 1996, which led him to a key marketing role at the EEF, the organisation that fronts up the engineering industry. In 1998 Rob joined Justin at World Telecom, working extensively on the “webmail partners programme” and was solely responsible for managing relationships with a number of football clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United. Rob then moved on to become Marketing Manager at Kitbag.com where he was responsible for all affiliate and partner marketing as well as working with Kitbag’s PR, media and digital agencies, an experience that led him to co-found FUSE Media in 2001.

Rob was one of the first in the industry to effectively manage cost per click networks on behalf of the FUSE’s early clients, and he has since played key roles in the implementation and management of other services such as email/SMS marketing and fulfilment, search engine optimisation, tracking and bid management technologies, design, production and web development.
